About The Role

We are seeking an Inbound Sales Representative with an unwavering drive to pursue new clients. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with inbound leads, qualify them, and manage introductory meetings of new prospects to the sales team. You will play a crucial role in driving our sales growth and ensuring a positive customer experience.

This full-time position will be part of the global marketing team and is based at our office in Basel, Switzerland.

Your Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to inbound inquiries via phone and email.
  • Prepare and present basic product overviews to new prospective customers.
  • Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and identify potential sales opportunities.
  • Manage introductory meetings of new prospects to the sales team.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to provide feedback on lead quality and campaign effectiveness.
  • Research companies and identify key decision makers using prospecting tools.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to boost attendance at Genedata’s events.
  • Stay informed about our products/services and industry trends to effectively communicate with prospects.

Skills & Experience

  • Master’s degree in Life Sciences (required).
  • Familiarity with biopharma research and development processes (preferred).
  • 1-2 years of work experience in a sales, marketing, or customer service role (preferred).
  • Prior experience using an enterprise CRM system – with Salesforce (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a knack for crafting engaging and creative messages.
  • Being able to listen to and understand customer needs allows you to tailor your sales approach and build stronger relationships.
  • Resilient, with a continuous learning and improvement mindset.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on prioritizing goals and driving business success.
